This cup dispenser is part of a matching bathroom set. ⏩⏩⏩⏩CLICK HERE TO SEE THE REST OF THE SET⏪⏪⏪⏪
SUPPLIESNOTE: This is to dispense 3 oz bathroom cups.
  •    1 plastic soda bottles. (We used the straight sided 17 fluid oz bottles of soda Walmart carries. The 20 oz Aquafina you see would likewise have worked.)
  •     Spray paint of choice
  •     Dry erase marker (to mark your bottles)
  •     X-acto knife
  •     Scissors
  •     Glues (Hot glue can be used for part of the project. I’d suggest spray adhesive for the labels and a strong, quick dry glue for the lid tab though hot glue can be used if
  •     Small piece of craft foam, for lid
  •     1″wood ball for lid
  •     Labels (free download on our site)
  •     Packing tape (used for laminating labels)
Cut the very bottom edge off your bottle. Take one of your cups that you will be using and put it over the TOP of the bottle and trace around using your dry erase marker.
Cut carefully above where you traced, towards the top of the bottle. Cut evenly.
Now that you have cut off the end, you will begin testing to see if your cups can be pulled out easily. You will need to place your cup inside the top of the dispenser and see if it can be easily pulled out without falling out.
If not, you begin to carefully trim minor slivers off the exit end with scissors, retesting. If you take off too much they will fall through and you’ll have to start over with a new bottle. Make sure to test by adding a pack of cups inside also.
This is for the Toothbrush and Floss holder ONLY. You can around the top edges of the bottle containers for a more finished look. Press them against an iron on high for a few seconds. NOTHING gets on the iron. Watch the video below. DO NOT DO THIS FOR THE CUP DISPENSER. VISIT OUR SITE FOR INFO ON THE OTHER ITEMS.
FOR FLOSS AND BRUSH CONTAINERS ONLY (view on our site). This shows how to curve the end of your bottle for a more professional finish.
Paint your bottle. Punch a hole in the back about 1" down to hang on a nail. We also suggest using Command Strips for added strength due to the amount of pulling it will receive.
We have three round patterns on our FREE DOWNLOAD ON OUR SITE you can use for a lid, however, if none fit simply find a cup or something to use to trace to make a lid that is slightly larger than the top of your container.
Cut a small tab and glue it on. We glued our onto the back of the bottle as a hinge using hot glue, but be VERY CAREFUL and only use a SMALL DOT OF HOT GLUE. It can melt the soda bottle.  Glue the ball on top and it helps to hold the lid down.To hang your dispenser, you need to punch a hole in the top back for a nail. We then also affixed a command strip below to allow for all the pulling.

Again, you can make the full set by visiting our site. For the toothbrush and floss holder add a few flat marbles into the bases to make them sturdy.

Clever and very inexpensive idea with so many possibilities for items that otherwise get thrown out or at best recycled. Thanks for sharing!
