Easy Yarn Wreath for Easter

It’s time to bring out the Easter Decor! Brighten up your door with an easy to make Yarn Wreath for Easter. Adding simple embellishments to a plain yarn wreath is a fun way to add some whimsical touches to your Easter decor.

I started with a 12 inch Styrofoam wreath form.

I love the combination of lots of spring colors in this yarn.

To wrap the wreath, I started by looping the yarn around the wreath and tying it off. I continued wrapping it until it was full. Along the way, I stop and scrunch the yarn closer together to make sure the wreath from doesn’t show through.

I purchased a package of felt eggs last year that I didn’t use for anything. They were a fun addition to this. They came with the dots and scrolly lines that could be added to the eggs. I used hot glue to attach them and then arranged the eggs onto the wreath and hot glued them in place.

Paper Easter basket grass is hot glued below the eggs.

I’ve had this little bunny for years. I don’t recall what he was originally attached to. He’s been stashed in with my Easter decor for a long time. I added a line of hot glue underneath him and attached him to the wreath. I used some pieces of yarn to tie a simple bows below the bunny. I finished it off with a felt rosette and some ribbon.

Using white tulle, I looped a long piece of it around the top of the wreath. It’s tied into a bow onto the door hanger. I added a simple bow of pink ribbon.
