See How Easy It is to Decorate an Antler for Spring

Easy
I covered an antler a few years ago with a plaid fabric and hung it on our gallery wall. It's looked great and was perfect for fall and winter. But with spring and summer coming, I thought I would try and make it a bit whimsical with flowers.

This is the antler hanging on our wall, which I took down to work on my project. If you want to see how I covered this antler with the plaid fabric, go this this site on my blog to see the tutorial on it.

Because I didn't want the plaid to show through in anyway, I covered it with white fabric, using long straight pins and marking where to cut it with a pencil or pen (see arrows above). I have much more detailed information on my blog showing how this part is done, if you need it.

After purchasing faux flowers, remove the flowers from their stem.

All your flowers will be pinned from underneath them to your fabric, as shown above.

If you look closely, I found a few butterflies to add on top of the flowers.

Here's our spring antlers hanging on our wall gallery.

This is a very easy project to do, and when fall rolls around again, just remove all the pins and you'll have your plaid-covered antlers hanging back on your wall again! I have more photos and details, should you need them, on my blog.
