Shiplap Farmhouse Wall Sign

3 Materials
I love Iron Orchid Designs rub on transfers. They are the most simple and easy things to use! No transfer gels, no ink printed photo, no rubbing paper off. Simply lay it out and rub it on to your surface.

These Farmhouse style transfers come in 2 portions. The word "FRESH is 36'' x 12" and "DAIRY" is 24" x 12". They come with instructions and a flat tool to rub the transfer on.

I cut 3 tongue and groove pine shiplap (Home Depot) boards at 62 inches so the print would have about and 1 inch on each side. I applied a good amount of Titebond III glue along the grooves and slide one on top of the other. Clamped and let them set for about 1 hr.

I then sanded the wood smooth.

Heritage Collection All in One Paint has a built in bonding primer and sealer. Perfect for this raw wood. I used the color Cashmere. A perfect Farmhouse White.

Only took 1 coat.

I sanded the paint once it dried to give it a distressed look.

No need to seal the paint prior to the transfer.

Here it is after it's been rubbed on. No halo around the image at all. Absolute Perfection!

Yes, He's handsome!

Mr. Winston approves of the Fresh Dairy shiplap farmhouse sign!
