Plastic Eggs to Looking Glass Easter Eggs

When spring finally rolls around, I start thinking Easter Eggs, do you too? This year I'm sharing a super easy project using Plastic Easter Eggs that you can pick up almost anywhere, including the Dollar Store!
This project couldn't be easier to do. You will need plastic Easter eggs, household scissors, an empty egg carton and Krylon Looking Glass spray paint.
Cut the egg halves apart. You know that little plastic tab that holds the two halves together? Cut it with household scissors as close to the egg half as you can get.
Using an empty egg carton, line up your egg halves. This makes them easy to spray paint. You could even skip a row, might make it a little easier to get to both sides !
Shake up your can of Krylon Looking Glass spray paint . . . and then shake it some more. The more you shake, the better the spray. Give it to one of your kids to dance around with - that's what I did - worked like a charm.
Okay, now let's get serious . . . do not over spray. Spray a very light coat, then turn the egg carton to get to the other sides and again spay with a very light coat. The paint dries very quickly in 5 to 10 minutes. Check your egg halves and make sure you are satisfied and that you were able to spray all side.
Add ribbons if you want, or display as the are.
