Repurpose your milk/water cartons, you won't believe how cute they will become.
Approximate time 45 minutes, cost will vary, we had all on had already. Very easy to make.

Cut off the top of the carton and be careful not to cut to close to the handle.
Start by cutting off the top of the carton and be careful not to cut to close to the handle.  Draw for the next cutting, going down the side of the handle to 1/2 inch above the indent in the bottle. Then cut down in front 4 to 5 inches. Trim off what you don't want and shape the ears
Now using a small hole punch,  ( 1/8 in diam ), punch holes around the cuttings. Starting at the handle place 2 holes on the top. I do about 1/4" spacing.   Now, pull out about 2 1/4 yds of yarn. Starting at the top of the handle and go all the way around weaving the yarn in the holes. As you pull the yarn in the first hole, leave a tail about 4 to 5 inches and knot it. You should  end at the handle and then tie off the two ends still leaving two tails. Now to make pom poms.
Take the yarn and wrap it around your four fingers approx. 20 to 30 times depending on how thick you want it. Place the yarn on a string  of 10" or so and tie it off.  Pulling all loops upwards, cut the loops and trim the tops.
Now thread the tied ends through the two holes in the top of the handle and tie them off securely.  Pull up the 4 tails and trip to match the pom pom.
Now it's face time.  Make a face you like with a felt marker and then the ears. When done, bend the ears forward to finish.  Color in the eyes and ears. Put some colored grass in and fill with Easter Eggs, Candy or what have you for a Easter basket or a plant if you would like a cent piece for your Easter table.
We had a great time making these together and hope you will as well.  Thank you for looking.   Happy Easter!  Joanne & Marilyn

Do the bunnies you are holding look different colors because of the colored grass inside or did you color them in some way? Thank you--they are adorable!

Does anyone have ideas on what to make from empty RX bottles? The pharmacy does not recycle these and I refuse to throw them away! I do use some for storage of small items!

    Thanh you
