I would like to know How to keep my Brugmansia? Because I don’t have a cellar and in my garage it freeze I do not know how to keep them I brought it inside last fall and was not looking bad for a while then I realize it was full of little little white thing that by really looking at it saw it move so I got a mild homemade spray that did not do any good then I fond a plant spray for plant that I had did not help much either so I took a rag and wipe all the leaves one by one and the whole branches as good as I could was pretty good for a few days but now it still starting to get some more all over again Is there something I could do because we still have quite a few more weeks before we can get it outside and those plant should they be dormant…I did not know so I kept watering them once a week I would really like to save it What can I do Lisette

It's possible that you have a root rot problem. If so, this article should be helpful in treating that problem. http://homeguides.sfgate.com/save-overwatered-plant-22932.html

I'd also suggest treating the plant with a fungicide treatment. Good luck in saving your Brugmansia!

You will have to repot the plant in fresh soil .White fly, will continue to come back regardless of how much you have sprayed it if you do not change the soil.

Always remember when you have a situation such as white fly, spider mite etc. the only way to save your plants is fresh soil as insect eggs remain in the soil and the sprays do not always work.
