I like making roses out of them - it's super easy. What do you do with them? What are other ideas?

Styroform or recycled paper. Either way, they are great for sorting craft beads, or a s seed starter for beans or any kind of plant

A number of years ago I made Fire Starter gifts for Christmas.

I gathered pinecones & dipped each (dried) cone in melted, colored wax, & placed it into a pressed paper egg carton.

The wax dripping off the pinecone allows each cone to stay firmly in place.

To use, each carton section can be cut or torn apart & tossed into fire pit or fireplace.

Many local people in my area who have chickens give away/sell eggs & really appreciate getting egg cartons back!
