How do I keep a paint brush soft after I used a oil based stain?

Wrap in plastic wrap & put in the freezer if you are reuseing it with the same paint.

It has always worked for me no matter the kind of paint or stains I have used.Wishing you luck and hope it works as well for you as it has for me.Sometimes I just toss it in a baggie and zip it up and in the freezer it goes.

I just want to thank you guys for the great tip i have 4 brushes i use and i put them in the freezer and pull them out as needed and they work great .Thanks

  it not only works with paint brushes but stain brushes as well so if some of the brushes come out of the freezer and they seem like they are frozen do not throw them away wait a few minutes to thaw and the will work like they are brand new
