Spring Wreath From a Re-Used Wreath

5 Materials
I like making new wreaths for my home's front door as the season changes. But after a while, the wreaths started to stack up in my home's basement. So a few months ago I wrapped a simple wreath form from the dollar store in burlap ribbon (also from the dollar store) for a wreath that I can re-use season to season. I used straight pins (on the back of the wreath) to secure the burlap to the wreath form.

The secret to my re-usable wreath is pinning or tying items onto my wreath instead of hot gluing them. When I remove items from my wreath (for a new look), I simply put the items together in sealable bag in case I want to put that wreath back together one day. My newest wreath is a spring wreath with faux forsythia and baby's breath. I used pins and burlap ribbon to secure the faux branches. The ribbon was quite frayed. I like the look of the strings of burlap ribbon hanging down, so I left a few here and there. I used blue burlap ribbon (from my February wreath) to tie a bow on the top and bottom of the wreath.

The below is another look at my spring wreath. I like the look of the blue, yellow and white against the red door!

This is what my January wreath looked like:

I am looking forward to putting together a new wreath for April -- I create a new wreath every month!
