Reg, cane bottom chair

I have a cane bottom chair that some big butt went through during the holidays. I can't find anyone in this area who recanes chairs. It is an old chair but not an expensive one like an Eastlake. Any suggestions ???

I recaned a pair of chair seats with no previous experience whatsoever.........easy but time consuming. So proud of the results using a kit available On line. Google recant g kits and order, around $18.
