So. You think your garage door is safe.
I did too until an extension spring almost took my head off.
Those bad boys are under tremendous tension. Let me tell you. But fortunately someone installed the safety cable the correct way.
I wanted to share this post so that you learn how to spot bad garage door extension springs. Plus, I share how to easily replace them.
The total cost is around $29. And if you replace one you should replace the other.
Otherwise your garage door may not close properly.
Here's the link with all the details, safety precautions, and step-by-step video tutorial.

You should check it out so that you know how to identify an unsafe extension spring that could hurt you or your family.
Have a great day and thanks for reading :)
Warm Regards,

Thank you, I love knowing the steps involved in making a home repair. Even if I'm not able to do the job myself, I now know that only spring replacement is necessary. I'll be checking mine today.
