Don't you just hate this? Simple fix with yarn.

Wide neck shirts slide off hanger?

All you need is yarn and a scissor.

Tie yard around hanger and start winding around hanger and loose end of yarn.

Stretch yarn up and around hook to secured yard from sliding off hanger.

To secured on other end of hanger, bring yarn ball in and around, tighten and start winding to end. Cut yarn from ball about 6 inches.

Stretch from end and bring yarn around stretched yarn to make a knot as shown in next pic. Do it about 3 times to make tight knots .

Do it about 3 times to make tight knots . Note: Before knotting off, push wound yarns together tightly, just looks better and less movement for any slippage off hanger.

There you have it! May not look pretty, but works!

I have this problem. I will try this too. Just a thought but could an elastic band work as well?

That's a good idea, especially for non-stretchy material. I'm going to try that too!

Hmm. That's a great idea. I've been using hair clips, but I have so many things in my closet the clips come off.
