Have an old retro chair that needs a new life? This was one of our very first projects and we're excited to sharing it now on Hometalk! This tutorial will show you how you can restore purpose and add a touch color in your office with this simple tutorial on how to repurpose a retro office chair!
Check out this video for an overview of this project!
For this DIY, we used Amy Howard Home products to give that shiny spray lacquer look. For the vinyl cushions, we used One-Step paint and a clear wax .
We removed the cushions to make it easier to paint without worrying about paint getting where it shouldn't.
We used spray lacquer on the legs, giving a light sand in between coats. On the cushions, we used Amy Howard One-Step paint, also sanding lightly in between coats. Then we added a flower to complete our look. We hope you enjoyed this tutorial and feel free to click the link to see the full tutorial!
