i use the large ones for herbs. Put on a nice label. Smaller ones I use for small items i.e.: safety pins, nails, bling stones, etc. hope this helps!

I use them to store little knicknacks like bobby pins and clips.

You can donate them to this amazing project that sends them to medical centers in Africa that are in need of medicine bottles. Check it www.malawiproject.org/empty-medicine-bottle-request-brings-unimaginable-response/

Your local vets will take them , remove lables as they contain your personal info .. I hang plastic bag inside my laundry room or behind a door and when full I take to vet when my pet needs a check up or drop off .. The Phamacy throws them away on trash day their recycle picks up .. Rather let vet reuse them .. Take all sizes .

Playground first aid: a plastic glove, neosporin and a bandaid----rubberband it to the wrist band that holds your playground whistle. Or poke a hole in the top and attach it.

****If you have bottles that have the pop off lids: GREAT science: put a half of an alka- seltzer tablet in it. Fill it 3/4 with water, put on the lid, shake and stand back. (ROCKET SCIENCE!!)

****Mother's day gifts: start a few seeds in the large bottles---decorate the bottle before planting: use a few cotton balls, wet them, and add the seeds--set them on the window sill---obviously, pick seed that will transplant once they are taken home. .******

Dieters rescue: fill with a few candies for those midnight cravings. (or for portion control-----ten mm's or three hard candies. . .)They fit into a care package for college students, too. (all kinds of goodies---$$ , mints, messages, etc. .

*****Fill with sewing needles---I sort them by size, and since you can see through

the bottles, you don't have to label anything.

I saw a story on HomeTalk using them to hide house keys. The individual glues a rock on the top and buried it.

Good Morning and greetings from the great State of Texas!!!! Our local animal shelter literally BEGS for empty prescription bottles. They use them for medicines to send home with adopted animals after spay/neuter surgery and if the bottles are donated, the money usually spent to purchase them can go to help save another animal!
