How To Make A Three Tiered Tray From Cake Pans

Like so many of you, I love to upcycle things from The Dollar Store or thrift store. I wanted a centerpiece for my Easter Tablescape, something that had height. I love the farmhouse style trays, but didn't want to spend a lot, so I decided to make my own. Here is what I used

I picked up 3 cake pans from The Dollar Store, as well as two glass candleholders. I also picked up a can of white chalky finish spray paint at the craft store using a 50% off coupon so this project was under $10! I had the glue on hand and like to use E-6000 for these type of projects. Give the pans and candleholders two good coats of paint letting it dry in between each coat. Then simply attach the candleholders to the pans with the E-6000 and you are ready to decorate! Of course, I have it all decked out for Spring!

The green moss really pops against the white and the large bunny looks so regal at the center of my tablescape. I know this will be something I reuse for each season. How about summer flowers once Easter is over, or perhaps a coastal theme with seaglass and driftwood? I can already see this for fall with mums and small pumpkins!
