After having a 1923 Craftsman home - A modular can leave a lot to be desired! Im on such a tight budget Im always looking for the biggest bang for my buck!
It all started because of MOLD!!! Hate it and HAD to abate it in the skylight
Previous owners did nothing to make this better. Ahh the joys of homeownership! KILZ paint to the rescue...along with wood putty and elbow grease
Sooooooo much better!
Clean and no more mold!
Well of course I couldnt stop there. No I had to paint the entire dang room with Kilz.
This is going to take me a while!
Dont even get me started on how much I HATED my floor! Couldnt ever get it clean...
Yucky sink..yucky everything!
So last year in our guest bath I tried paperbag floors.....Here we go again!
Without a doubt one of the BEST projects I have discovered!
Chalk paint to the rescue on pressboard cabinets!!!
So my "new" sink I had bought 3 years ago on sale for $20 - and the Moen faucet was $10 (missing the blue and red dots for the handles) I can live with that!
I picked up the towel racks at a yard sale a year ago for $2 and restrained them :-) The mirror I already had.....much better than the standard crap mirror
Ahhhhhh..my budget buster! HAD TO HAVE IT! I looked for two months for a curtain that I really loved....
and the floors.....Yes! So much better. So I have knobs for the cabinets to install (from another project) A few strips of trim I still need to get (we live about 60 miles from a town so its on the list) and Im done!!!!
Finally! We have knobs!!!! (which came from my old kitchen many years ago)
