DIY Dollar Tree Succulent Tower

During a recent trip to Dollar Tree, I had a revelation while walking the aisles. You know those oil warmers? I think that’s what they’re called. Those white little domes with a dome inside and a place to pour oil on top. What if I stacked them on top of one another and placed little (faux) succulents inside?

Here are the oil warmers themselves. Cute but nothing spectacular on their own!

Using hot glue (or E6000 adhesive), stack one on top of another. Make sure you alternate which side is facing the other oil warmers. We want the transition from one warmer to the next to look seamless. Check my picture below for clarification.

Add some Spanish moss to the inside of each dome. Just a tiny amount of moss is necessary to achieve this cool look.

Finally, add one succulent into each dome. Don't these look gorgeous now? I absolutely love the way this came out and I definitely think this looks much more expensive than it actually is. Do you also love succulents? Be sure to visit my blog for more succulent projects and other spring related decor ideas. If you're not a huge fan of succulents, you could also place some flowers inside the little domes. This is a versatile project for sure.

Do the succulents need any moisture? Also, will they outgrow their

    "cubby"?

May I clarify here, they are not oil warmers, but aromatherapy oil burners! Water is placed in the top then drops of essential oil are added to the water. We used them in Nursing home where I used to work, to freshen up the air in the day/ sitting room. You will find them very common in Massage theripy rooms and beauty parlors to. I use them in my home as I find the oil is very carming @ relaxing. Thanks for allowing to clarify.
