I'm a quilter so I use those empty pill bottles for bobbin that have thread that I may need maybe as a spare or someone else might need in different colors.. also did you know that if you turn one of the kids upside down that you could connect two bottles to each other! Do you have alot of the bottles? If you do you could altuse them to put beads in them for making jewelry. The lids stay on tight. Good luck Patricia from Marquette heights,il

I really like this idea. I'm going to be planting with seeds as soon as it's time. That is to start outside. Thanks for helping me out with all the bottles.

Mini keychain first aid kits: We used items we had in the building from the medication room, which contained the first aid supplies: Band-aids, alcohol prep wipes and individual packets of A&D ointment. We made two sizes and in the larger ones we included a "yuck"(poison) sticker as well that I had from when my child was younger. The amount if each item depended on the size of the pill bottle. We didn't have individual packets of triple antibiotics ointment, thus the reason for A&D. We printed the first aid cross symbol on label stickers, cut printed labels into circles with the cross in center and put label on the top of the cap to cover the pharmacy information.

My mom lives in a senior apartment and they save the bottles, take the labels off and give to a group that sends them to Africa for reuse for prescriptions for the poor. I don't know the name of the organization, but local churches or clinics may know.

One time thing but you can make it for friends and family . Glue a large rock on top of the cap and bury it the back garden with spare key to use if you get locked out.

Use them to store different types of hardware - screws, nails, etc. Take a photo of the item and print it out to tape or glue to the pill bottle, so you can immediately identify what you are looking for.

Keep one handy in the kitchen and gardening areas. I don't know about you, but there are things you do in the kitchen where you take off your rings and lay them on the counter somewhere where they can get knocked off and go down the disposal or drain or the floor. In regards to garden areas, my rings make wearing gloves uncomfortable and this is a way to store them and not loose them, and you can put them back on as soon as the gloves come off.

I organize my sewing supplies w/them.....hooks/eyes, snaps, small buttons, needles, etc. I made a "sewing jar" out of a canning jar, added a pin cushion top, and then used the smaller medicine bottles and filled them w/the above items so the jar was more organized and stuff could be neatly taken out........my friends love them! They're a HUGE HIT for even craft fairs!
