Crafternoons: What Are Your Dollar Store Crafts???

Last week, the Hometalk Community virtually crafted with pastel colors!! This weekend's crafternoon theme is...dollar store crafts!! Make any craft with dollar store items and post it on Discussions, our DIY forum, with the title “Crafternoons”. Post a photo, or even just a description!

Every week, a few crafternooners will win a fun prize! The catch? This is a weekend-only challenge- your discussion on the forum needs to be up by 11 PM EST on Sunday.

I LOVE button crafts...especially jewelry, which can be very costly to make!
But the Dollar Store near me always has containers (approx 1c. size) of buttons in pastel, primary, bright & basic plain colors!
Even the containers are cute to reuse...

I've sold all the jewelry I had made & didn't think to take pics! I'll post photos of the next batch I make!

Bought foam wreath circle, blue bird and butterflies from dollar tree. Added a $1 thrift store scarf. Cute wreath for $4. Plan to do a winter one for front door.

I just made a "wire cloche" for my garden out of dollar store waste baskets.
The baskets were $1 each (of course). They were white, so I spray painted them bronze. I put a leftover knob on the bottom, which is now the top. I now have a cover for my new plants so the rabbits won't get into them! Really simple!
