Feather Finish Concrete Dining Table Makeover!

5 Materials
Thanks to Pinterest and YouTube videos, I was able to turn my 1980's, worn out table and chairs into the envy of all who see!! The transformation was amazing! Quick and painless!

Light coat Henry feather finish

You can see the "before"! It was in need of some TLC, long overdue!

Chairs in transition

Unicorn Spit paint, Valspar lime wash and antiquing glaze (used for table base as well) and finally canvas drop cloth to replace old ugly fabric on chairs.

Beautiful!

I'm in love!! It was painless!

So easy!

Took two days!

Totally transformed!

Definitely from drab to fab!

Base and trim using spit!

Unicorn Spit made this fun!!! Thanks Michelle!! :)

Hi Bonnie! It's funny... I was so scared to try it!! I read so many tutorials and each of them had "warnings", etc. maybe it's because I have been doing so much wood working lately and right before using the feather finish, did some stools using Bondo (TALK ABOUT DRYING FAST!!!) this seemed like one of the EASIEST projects I have done, to date!! Also the quickest to complete!! The only thing I found to be sort of a pain (but not horrific like I read in a couple of posts) was the dust from the sanding. I suspect however, (I think I got pretty good at smoothing on, from my bondo experience) that I sanded much less than some of these other tutorials.

Yup, just saw this post on the table. Loved your counter tops, now I love your table. Both are awesome!
