IKEA Hack- DIY Farmhouse Window Mirror

Create this farmhouse window-mirror with an inexpensive IKEA mirror and some painted trim from your hardware store.

I bought a MINDE mirror from IKEA which is the basic full-size mirror for under $10.

Paint all of the pieces of half round. I used Annie Sloan’s Pure White Chalk Paint. I didn’t completely cover the pieces of half round with the paint because I wanted a vintage farmhouse look.

Measure and cut all of the half round pieces and then begin the process of gluing them to the mirror. I used (affiliate) DAP Rapid Fuse Wood Adhesive to glue the trim to the mirror. The DAP Rapid Fuse works great because it is clear and does not get "puffy" as it dries. Use clamps to hold the trim in place.

I am really pleased with how this IKEA hack turned out. By strategically placing trim, I was able to completely change the look of this mirror and give it a farmhouse feel! What an awesome IKEA hack!

It totally goes with my farmhouse decor, and we're loving it!
