I think you are on the wrong site. You either need to go to a plumbing site or simply pick up the phone and call a plumber.

    Hi,

Sounds like a worn seal possibly? Can you post a picture of the leak? A plumber could probably fix a simple leak in a matter of minutes, if there is a crack to the cistern or pipe, then it's a bigger job - plumber would be able to tell.

Could be a loose bolt or a worn washer holding the tank to the base. If it is a crack, then you will need to replace the whole unit. Best of luck.

Try Chrysmo. It's an iPhone app that lets you live chat with an expert by text, audio, or video call. You can share pictures, too, so they can see exactly what you see and advise you on how to fix it.

These are two tank mounting methods I know. Look in the bottom of the tank on each side and look for a flat or round head that is a bolt that holds the tank on. If so, get a wrench and slightly tighten the nuts behind and under the commode. OR. Look in the center where the water flows out to flush the commode. Look for a very large nut. Usually plastic. Try tightening it with your fingers. If it moves, you'll need a plumber to tighten it enough.

I wasn't finished, I guess. If those don't work. I agree with Andrew from down under.
