Make Farm Fresh Eggs Last By Blowing Them Out

by LL Farm
Blown out eggs are great for crafts, Easter egg coloring, and farm fresh arrangements. No fancy tools are needed. Grab a nail, a toothpick, a straw, and a bowl. Get ready to blow like you're blowing up a balloon, and you are ready!
Start by thoroughly washing the egg with soap and warm water, then dry off. Begin gently tapping a nail onto one end of the egg to create a small hole. Do this on both ends of the egg. Be careful not to use too much force or the egg will crack.
Use a toothpick to help break up the yolk.
Position the straw over one of the holes.
Take a deep breath and blow! It really doesn't take long for the yolk to flow out.
Rinse the egg out with water and allow to dry.
Enjoy the beauty of farm fresh (or store bought) eggs for a long time.
