2017 Spring Mantle

I decorated our mantle for Spring this year using items I already had and updating them with the help of a little spray paint.
I did start by giving the mantle a good cleaning and selecting the old pieces I wanted to use.
I wanted a lighter mantle, so I sprayed painted the candle holders, finials, bird houses and bird using two different colors of paint.
The galvanized pots are nothing more that a utensil holder set to which I added a bit of moss and some faux greenery.
I also wrapped some books with fabric and twine to place under the topiary on each side.
