Attaching photos to fabric on Room Divider.

I am making a photo collage for a Family Reunion we are having in June. The photos will be attached to the fabric on this room divider. I do not want to use pins because they will destroy the pictures. Also do not think masking tape would hold up in the summer heat and humidity. Is there some kind of adhesive/glue that is removable and will not harm the fabric or pictures? You know like the sticky stuff that attaches new credit cards to cards you receive in the mail.

My cousin used masking tape and it left a very dark mark on the pictures. Most glues and tape are not good to use. Also, many photo albums aren't good either because some have acid which ruins the pictures over time. You could go to the office supply story and get some acid free file holders to slip the pictures into and then string them and hang back and forth like you would hang on a tree or string it on something else. If you have a scanner or copier, you could made a picture of each and used for placemats and guessing games. If you have a computer where the party is, you could make a college that moves over each one like a scrape book. I forget what its called. If your scanning them, be sure to share them with your family historian.
if you don't mind using pins on the fabric itself, run fishing line at a diagonal across the panels, and then use small clothes pins, craft section of hobby store, and hang the pictures that way.
I bought different sizes of clip boards at Walmart , painted them, and did a wall of my grandchildrens pictures. When I get new ones it's easy to change them, you just clip them in. I used little glue dots under the bottom corners so they don't curl. Not sure how you can attach the clip board to the panels but I'm sure you can think of a way. The clip boards come in three different sizes, and they look great on my wall...
Rare earth magnets! They're strong enough to hold through the fabric. I've bought them at Walmart and Michaels for sewing projects. That way you can display on both sides
and double your display. Have a wonderful reunion.
Wrap new fabric around the old fabric and sew it on. This gives you the option to match the wedding colors. Sew or glue clear plastic pockets to the new fabric. Put pictures into these pockets. You can buy sheets of plastic from the fabric section at Walmart and cut them down to size. Once finished with the wedding remove the new fabric and everything is as good as new.
Office supply stores carry clear plastic sleeves for putting pictures into for note books...I'd make copies of the photos, put them into the sleeves & pin them to the fabric. You can put a colored paper backing in the sleeve for smaller pictures or if they look presentable...blow the picture up to fit the sleeve. NEVER would I put out original pictures, especially NOT in sun light, due to rapid fading of the images. Have fun
Get some twine and glue small clothes pins on it every few inches. The length between them depends on the size of your pictures. The twine will go from top to bottom of each section of the divider. You will need to glue the clothes pins on the twine vertically also. To "fasten" the twine, tie a knot in the back. You could also use a pretty ribbon.
Rubber cement is the glue you want, can even buy in spray can.
You could also make some mini photo mats, then tape ribbon/clear fishing line to the back and hang them using map tacks on back of wooden frame.
How did you finally placed the photos on the room divider? Try out the Shoji screens as room dividers. Then, you will not have to worry about placing the pictures. Tape can be used.
