Raindrop Bathroom Mini Remodel

It’s been a while since I updated my guest bathroom. We have two bathrooms in our house; one in the master bedroom and one off the main hallway that guests use. The guest bathroom is also my daughter’s main bathroom. Several years back I updated it from ugly 80’s style to a fun raindrop bathroom.

Now, when I painted this bathroom the first time I was struck with raindrop inspiration but I didn’t think about the fact that it is almost always raining outside and you know what seemed like a good idea? Painting a bunch of raindrops on the walls so we can pretend that it’s also raining inside of the house! Pure genius I tell ya!

Since my daughter is three and this is her main bathroom I knew she would be upset if I painted over the raindrops so I decided to have a little fun and bring in some more playful elements with some rainbow colors, new art and accessories. Just because it’s winter doesn’t mean we can’t bring some sunshine in right?
I put up a new shower curtain and shelf behind the toilet, both from Target
I painted the existing cabinet grey and added new hardware from Home Depot, Martha Stewart collection.
Linens from Walmart, ice cream cone cookie jar from thrift store.
Platypus art from Berkeley Illustration.
Clock from Target.
Shower curtain from Target.
