LADYBUGS!! PLANT some ladybug attracting plants around where they're most active & the ladybugs will come & eat the aphids. Aphids are their favorite & they won't bother your plants. Depending on the size of the problem, you can mix a tablespoon of dish soap with a gallon of water and spray all the surfaces of the plant. Aphids have a waxy coating which the soap destroys and they'll die. This will work great for houseplants and a few potted plants but not for a garden. For that, I'd try a horticultural oil spray. Look for it in the gardening section in many stores.
