Paint color suggestions for my bathroom?

Small bathroom has old school pale yellow tiles half way up walls and entire shower that are in wonderful shape. I have had walls and cabinets painted white for years . Any great ideas on new colors for walls and cabinets.

I have the same bathroom tile. I painted the vanity dark gray and the upper walls light gray my accessories and pictures are all in yellow and gray. I've received many compliments as to how the color scheme made the yellow tile attractive.

Gray is the new white in many magazines, just be careful with the grays because they tend to play very differently in rooms. Sometimes they will look green brown or blue.I would choose some swatches first. If you find a color that you think will work buy a sample and test it.Look at the color in different light, morning afternoon and evening.

I painted for someone that had the same color tile that was 4' high up the wall in the entire bathroom. I painted the wall area above the tile in Valspar "Smoked Oyster" (got it at Lowes & used a satin finish, could use an eggshell if wanted...it is a taupe/grey color with a touch of "warmth" that is so neutral). It ABSOLUTELY toned down the yellow in the tile to take on the appearance of cream instead!!! The owner could not believe how it took the gold tone out of the room. I have used this color in MANY jobs & rooms I have painted in my home as well. It is amazing how modern it makes a room too. Another color I LOVE is more of a "cool" grey...Sherwin Williams Light French Grey I have used in my living room & kitchen. Can't lose with either one.....Good luck with your painting!! :)

Thank you for color suggestions, so many Grey's. This gives me two good places to start. One small window with eastern light makes paint chips look entirely different then in paint store.

Thank you, I had to paint the large bathroom three times but I really don't want to paint this tiny one but once. Funny "L" shape makes it so hard to move around and has made me make excuses for far to long.

YES! The light is absolutely important in picking colors out...also, I once painted for someone who used florescent light bulbs in her kitchen and dining area & it totally made the paint take on a green hue! lol
