What is this plant?

I'm trying to clear out an area for sod, but this plant keeps popping up. Does anyone know what it is or how to get rid of it. I go out every weekend and dig up dozens of them.
it looks like a potatoe plant its a weed and will take over and choke out everything but hard to say for sure cant see leaves shape being here in fl probably is
What is your location?
It looks like a Hosta tuber. Digging them out is the only way.
