What are the best type of vines to grow over my sunny pergola?

    We have several climbing hydrangeas. I also installed "fake vines" from Improvements and it looks nice.

    Trumpet vine, roses, wisteria

    Wisteria is great, but be prepared to cut it back frequently. It grows fast and attaches to anything that stands still too long. At will also pull the support posts right out of the ground. However, it is beautiful to look at and creates an amazingly and inviting cover in a sunny area. The fragrance of the flowers in the spring is beyond the imagination.
