Is Creeping Charlie in your lawn a good thing or a bad thing?
Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
I just commented on another question like this. I use a granular product called Deer Scram. You sprinkle it as a barrier around the garden. it contains dried blood and Deer avoid anything dead (it's a natural instinct to avoid disease). It works, but it's a little pricey. I get in on Amazon. I've tried dryer sheets, soap, spray, you name it. This was recommended to me by a friend who was the groundskeeper at the local country club. And it does work! Just make sure to read the directions and refresh as recommended.
They are not fond of strong scented plants so perhaps you can add in some planters of thyme or anise. Some herbs will just take a garden over so I keep them in containers. My brother had luck with scattering deodorant soap that was strongly scented and planting crown imperials between his flowers, but I don't know if they would thrive so far north?
