Best full sun container plants?

We live in the south and I have a large flowerpot on my front porch. It gets full, hot sun almost all day. What is the best flowering plant to use there?

Succulents . I have a black thumb and even I can grow them in full sun in the deep South .
Hibiscus. Its really a bush though. But it flowers nice. And you could get a small one and keep it trimmed.
Begonias are great and they love the sun!
Hibiscus love the sun, but they need to be watered every other day when it gets very hot.
Some plants I have in my all afternoon sun garden (100+ in the Summer) that would do good in containers ~ Daylily, Marigold, Catmint, Shasta Daisy, Sedum, Cosmos, Rosemary, Alyssum, Roses, Geraniums, Statice, Lavender, Gaura, calendula, asparagus fern, Cranesbill, ...just to name a few ♥ Have fun! BTW, I'm in zone 9
