- Elaineon Apr 29, 2017If you like the pretty "English garden" look between stepping stones, be sure to plant Wooly Thyme. It is a tough perennial, spreads rapidly, stands up very well to foot traffic, smells nice and has a very tiny flower. It is also easy to divide the areas that fill in fast and replant. I use it all the time.HelpfulReply
