i don't know about that but get a servesto collar. they are a little pricey, i got mine for $45.00 i think on sale but they are good for 8 months. i live in georgia where there are plenty of ticks and fleas and my dogs are free of both. i can't say enough good things about these collars. fleas will take over your house. i suggest an exterminator and the collar. good luck.

I use laundry borax in a sprinkle bottle, shake all over floors, and can use on upholstry, leave 3 hours and then vacumn up. Eggs can hatch every 9 days in flea season. Won't hurt the pets.

I also have flea traps with light that has sticky paper on bottom that you can change when full. Also kills spiders and other crawlies (you can make a similation of a flea trap, get a night light, find some of those old large glass christmas bulbs in green, put a bowl of water with a couple drops of dawn in it underneath)

Put a water bath with 1/2" of solution outside your door to step in when you've been on the grass. Watering your lawn keeps them down.

  • I use vinegar for more things than I can count. Yes to the fleas. I love the smell of vinegar, doesn't bother me to use it.

Vinegar may kill some of the fleas but not all. Vinegar will repell fleas for a while - ( I guess they don't enjoy the taste) but they may relocate. You can use Dawn on animals, it works for the wildlife folks. Fleas are a bugger. Lots of washing in hot water and vacuum, vacuum! Good luck!
