I made a huge work table from my parents old door. Yours would simply be a smaller scale version. You will need to scout out your hardware store for what you want to use for legs. I used decorative wood fence posts. Cheap and sturdy. Then decide the height of your table and carefully measure and cut each leg. Measure twice. Cut once. That's always good advice. There are a couple ways to attach them and depending on the style leg you chose. Brackets and wood glue. Long wood screws and wood glue. For the edges on all 4 sides, I used fluted molding in the center and wood rosettes glued to the table leg at each end. I
caulked the seams and painted the entire piece a nice shabby chic white and added a glass top. hopefully his gives you a visual for your door.
Warm regards,
Susie
Hardware stores sell table legs just attach to the door. Paint or stain everything to match if desired.
