It would be nice if you included a picture - its hard to imagine what your kitchen counter and phone look like. Wind the cord around decor piece? Tape it? or loop w/a hook to a wall? Just g

I have always had good luck with faux plants. They just add some color, and no one knows what is behind them. Hope that helps.
If there are cabinents above, tack it with cable holders underneath cabinet to keep it tidy. Cable holders are little white clips with a tiny short nail you can hang them with.
