DIY Pegboard Frame

3 Materials
What do you do when you need a place to hang your tools but don't want to sacrifice your home decor? Let me show you how I combined a pegboard and a frame to create some organization while adding style!
I grabbed an empty frame that I had picked up at Hobby Lobby in the 90% off clearance aisle, a piece of pegboard, 2 pieces of scrap pallet wood and some hot glue.
I attached the scrap pallet pieces to the back so that it gave enough space between the frame and the wall for my hooks to go in. Next, I cut the pegboard to fit into the opening where a glass piece would normally go.
On this one, I used a black glitter spray paint to decorate the pegboard. On the other ones I used Heirloom Traditions Heritage collection which is an All-In-One paint!
Once I had the pegboard painted and assembled, I ran a bead of hot glue along the backside of the board to hold it in place, since these frames didn't come with glass, clips or a backing.
This one is by far my favorite! I found this frame at a garage sale a few years ago. I love the look of the pegboard with the frame.
So you can see how easy it is to combine function and stye!
