I have found hidden wasp nests around my back deck by watching their fly patterns and eventually they will land and go to their nest. That is the painless way rather than by discovering their nest by accidentally disturbing it.
so you need to watch them before dusk and find where they are going,then have your wasp spray ready.Are you sure they are wasps?
