sure no problem
I'm in northern Indiana, and I'm sure our climate is about the same. In my shade garden, perennials include hosta, bleeding heart, cinnamon fern, Lily-of-the-Valley, wild violets, and johnny jump-up (a shade loving viola). The larger blooming plants flower at different times, so I almost always have color. I have also included shepherd hooks that hold hanging baskets with partial-sun loving annual flowers...my favorite is the Fuschia!!
they hold up ok in wind, but don't let them dry out. if you have a lot of wind, try moving the plant closer to the ground by using a short shepherd hook, or a low pot hanger of some type. it seems that mine withstand the wind better when they are low, and if you can shelter them in some way that would be good too.
You're welcome!
