Vintage Repurposed Coffee Pots

I love to use unexpected things for storage, and there are so many things that I see at the thrift stores that can be repurposed in fun and interesting ways.

The traditional ceramic canister set that I had on the kitchen counter had to go. It just wasn't the look that I wanted anymore.
I found four 50 cent vintage coffee pots and a $1 vintage ice bucket in my craft studio thrifted stash.
This 3D stick-on letter sheet that I found at the dollar store had perfect sized letters. I tried to colour them red with a red marker, but it wasn't opaque enough for me... so I grabbed some red apple spray paint and used that.
And it worked perfectly.
We love to drink decaf teas and we each have our favourite, so I labelled a pot for John and myself, and then green tea is kept in the third one. We keep caffeinated tea in the cupboard for guests.
The vintage ice bucket makes a perfect cookie jar because it's air tight, and the mini coffee pot makes a sweet sugar container.
So the next time you're looking for some interesting kitchen storage...
...think outside the canister. :)

Now that's cute! "Green" and "John" look like a couple we take camping. Now I see a re-purpose when my camping days are over.

Super idea! With corks to seal the spouts and long hooks, you might be able to hang these pots to clear counter space. Wouldn't they look cute seemingly pouring out.
