Start with an easy white wash over a plywood.
Gather these supplies and mark off measurements for your faux barn board look.
Score wood several times to create grove.
Transfer up your favorite places
With a acrylic sharpie paint pen and distressing you are finished

    I love, love, love this idea. My only question is how to do transfer if you don't have a computer that has that, or whatever it is you need.

      @Robin Smith Hi Robin! If you have a computer, you would just print it onto transfer paper which you just feed into your printer so you can use an overhead. You could also just print it and take the black and white copy to an Office Depot or Staples and they can copy it onto a transparency. Do you have a computer to create the layout on? Do you have an overhead projector? If not, visit www.thegraphicsfairy.com where you can find a post on several different ways to transfer images. Let me know if this doesn't answer all your questions.
