The are very vigorous vines and need to be trellised.
You need Botha male and female to produce fruit. They are a very BIG strong vine. Plan to trellis like Janet said.
And prune every year or the fruit won't ripen. Some kiwi plants self pollinate. Do a search on "self-pollinating kiwi plants".
