What type of moss would be good to use to fill bare patches under a tree where grass will not grow?
Have your tried seeded with a seed for shade?
Saint Augustine will grow there and centipede if you get some light. From the looks of the picture, the seed will germinate since there is some grass on level lot to hold it.
