Are adhesive mirrors identical to solid mirrors?

I like to renovate and transform frames, I will also post a door become furniture entrance with mirror. 💁However, apart from painting, it is to cut the mirror to the right dimensions which is the most expensive. And I'm working for the moment on an oval frame transformed into vanity. Can I put an adhesive mirror + glass? Will it be good quality and cheaper? Thank you for sharing your experience before purchasing.

It doesn't look as good as a mirror, but I have seen people distress it in ways that have made it look aged.

Another option would be buying pre-cut mirrors that are close to the size you need, and fitting them in with decorative trim. Be sure to check your thrift stores and garage sales, for inexpensive, used mirrors.

Are you asking if you can put a thin mirror on top of glass with adhesive to make it heavier? Or using diy mirror spray on the glass instead of a mirror? Or putting glass behind the mirror? Hmmm., not sure what you mean by an adhesive mirror, unless you meant a thin mirror? just trying to make sure. I have used the mirror spray, it is good, won't really look as perfect as a real mirror. Make sure the glass is really clean and dry before spraying it on. Sorry if i got your question wrong.
