How much chicken manure compost to add to tomato garden?

    You can spread it pretty freely when you first plant, as long as it's not fresh and has composted a bit. Otherwise it can burn the plant roots. The tomatoes will feed off of it for quite a while. Chicken manure makes the BEST fertilizer for squash plants also.

    You will be best to use composted manure not raw manure. That will kill your plants. Manure must be cured over a period of time.
