Our large living room window needed a bit of something to make it look more finished.
Since I prefer not to use curtains or blinds on our living room window due to the fact that it has an awesome view of the woods behind our home.....it always looked a bit plain and naked. Simple solution....I took an old bi-fold closet door, removed the hinges and hardware, scuffed up the white paint on it with sandpaper to give it a distressed look, and hung the two pieces on either side of our window. Hardly any work at all...and it really gives the window a framed, professional look!
