Hi Lynn! I did not know that you could actually keep bees from hummer feeders, but this website gives some suggestions. Good luck! http://www.worldofhummingbirds.com/uninvitedbees.php

Buy bee guards and instainstall in your flowers. Works great.

Bees have to eat too. They are already in trouble, I don't think they are bothering anybody by taking a drink. You may be helping the bees in your area to thrive. Can you imagine what would happen if the bees disappeared from your area?

Honey bees are VERY beneficial & shouldn't be hindered from gaining food; bee guards are available...but I wouldn't mind a bit if I had honey bees feeding at my feeder.

Some feeders have yellow caps where the hummer feeds, try removing them. They attract bees and hummers will feed even when they are removed.
