What can I plant that will grow in acidic ground?

We recently had a row of evergreen trees removed from our yard. The ground is very acidic from all the pine needles. What can we plant here that will grow?

i had same situation. I bought lime & good soil at gardening center & have had no problem growing anything in that area.
Hydrangeas will grow but will mostly be pink
