Using a galvanized stock tank for a shower

We are installing a shower in the shop. I've seen a dozen photos of galvanized stock tanks used in shower applications, but I have a ton of questions about anchoring it to the floor, establishing the slope for draning, and so on. Has anyone actually done this? How would you anchor the tub to a concrete floor?

A few years ago I put one in an airstream trailer that wasn't going on the road any more. Put shims on the floor under the rear of the tub. Check for drainage. I used a rubber hose for this. Adjust shims if needed. I then covered the floor and shims with thick rubber cut to fit the bottom of the tub. Rubber was the kind that you can buy by the foot to place on a concrete floor for people who stand a lot. For my placement I couldn't see the shims and the drain faced the back side. If you do see the shins & don't like seeing them you could skirt the tub--galvanized metal for example. Fit the drain and done.

I have some experience building pre-sloped shower floor which was later tiled. I'll have to look to see if there is a lip at the bottom, because that would be pretty easy to form a base the way you did with the rubber cushion, and set it directly over the form. Hmmmmmmm need to go to the Tractor Supply Store tomorrow!! Thanks. (they also have the floor mats there.)
